This book rules, it made me completely obsessed with 1970's punk rock. It starts off with the birth of the movement with the VELVET UNDERGROUND and takes you through the decade with THE RAMONES, DEAD BOYS, RICHARD HELL, BLONDIE, the NEW YORK DOLLS, and all of their groupies. The scandals, the drugs, the prostitution, and even the death of SID VISCIOUS. This book's got it all, and it reads like candy.
