Eric pays homage to his favorite 24 hour Donut Shop in the Mission - Hunts. A shop that boasted that it was open "25 hours a day." Lyle revisits his old hang-out and it's history of crime, seedy patrons, crooked owners, and the role it served in San Francisco's unsavory underbelly for the many years that it was open. Unfortunately, Hunts was demolished in the last year to make way for another set of ugly condos. They don't teach you history like this in school. Grab a donut and a cup of coffee - it's SCAM 5 1/2!

A interesting series of letters between two old friends, Andrew and Jack, deaingl with the topic of "what brings about happiness in life?" Each author responds to the other's letter with their own contrasting opinion, but in the end they eventually see eye to eye. The letters are broken up by Andrew's photos that add to the overall mood of the zine. Rating: ...of course - good
